Mediation

Mediation

Mediation is a voluntary, confidential process whereby a neutral third person called a mediator acts to encourage and facilitate the resolution of a dispute between two or more parties. The role of the mediator includes, but is not limited to, assisting the parties in identifying issues, fostering joint problem solving, and exploring settlement alternatives. In divorce mediation, decision-making authority rests with the parties. We provide a variety of services including but not limited to:

Divorce Mediation: High Conflict Resolution

  • Child Custody and Parent Time

  • Create Parenting Plans

  • Child Support and Alimony

  • Distribution of Property

  • Retirement

  • Taxes

Pro Se Mediation

Pro Se Mediation is when couples obtain a divorce without retaining an attorney.

  • In Texas, this type of alternative dispute resolution is accepted in the court system.

  • Divorce mediation is the best alternative if you and your spouse are willing to work together to minimize your losses both financially and emotionally.

  • Divorce is not something anyone plans on experiencing. It is not unusual to feel like there is nowhere to turn for help. Thus, mediators can help provide facilitation and support when needed.
